Taxonomy

The word taxonomy is a combination of two Greek words meant that arrangement or classification of laws. The taxonomy is the database of information and data. So database is in use of all fields which ease the retrieving work. Blooms taxonomy is used in education field, both the learners and teachers getting advantages and improving their ability through Blooms taxonomy. As mentioned before database is used in every field today, so taxonomy has wide range of use in scientific and research world. The good example for this is to consider the micro organisms research where so much of minute information to be classified and should be recalled at the time of need, the taxonomy of kingdom protista is an in existing use which proved the importance of taxonomy here.

If we dig the history of taxonomy we came to know it’s an oldest profession right from Adam period. Thus it’s evolved till today. The field of zoology is also using the taxonomy to track the records of various creatures at different time period. So this animal taxonomy is very advantageous one to track the animal’s evolutionary growth. But the Swedish scientist Carl Linnaeus is one who sowed seed for taxonomy which is in widely used in all fields to enhance the effective work.
